Wind Utilization

Wind is not always a plentiful resource, but in some cases it abounds and can yield a great deal of usable energy . The costs considerations are usually the draw back to this approach, but improvements are constantly being made. The challenge is to select a reliable small scale wind turbine with a low cost, high efficiency battery system. The procurement of the wind turbine or the parts needed to construct it is an equally challenging task. The progress in vertical axis wind turbines is highly desirable, but practical working models are yet to be available. The placement of an alternate energy system in places where disadvantaged people can utilize them is considered very beneficial in many cases.
